Casandra Henley, B.A., J.D.
Casandra is from Knoxville, TN and earned her undergraduate degree in Sociology with a Concentration in Criminal Justice. She then went on to attend The University of TN, College of Law, graduating in 2004. While in law school, Casandra discovered her passion for helping others. Therefore, she decided her talents would be better served in the field of social work rather than law.
Casandra went on to work in juvenile court and several residential treatment facilities, serving children in State’s custody, as well as adults struggling with mental illness and substance dependence. Casandra also served as a community case manager, working with various populations struggling with a variety of issues. Through this work, Casandra experienced the benefits of meditation, for both providers and clients alike. Casandra desires to continue this work, helping those who may be struggling with stress or anxiety to calm their minds.
Casandra’s classes will be held every 2nd and 4th Sunday of the month. She will offer both guided and sound bath meditation sessions. Guided meditations will focus on breathing, imagery, and mindfulness, while sound bath sessions will engulf participants in musical vibrations to achieve ultimate relaxation.
